| Obverse description | Central field features the crescent moon and five-pointed star, the national emblem of Pakistan, rendered in high relief against a plain field. Flanking the lower portion of the crescent are decorative foliate scrolls extending to either side. The Hijri date ۱۴۰۱ appears in Eastern Arabic numerals along the lower exergue. Surrounding Urdu legends in Nastaliq script arc across the upper and lateral fields, reading 'Government of Pakistan' and 'One Rupee'. The entire design is enclosed by a dentilated border. |
