"Georges-Louis Leclerc de Buffon" was an 18th-century French naturalist — his appearance on a 2020 polymer note from a non-existent jurisdiction suggests a novelty or fantasy issue, almost certainly produced for the collector market rather than any genuine monetary purpose.
