背面描述 Central field bearing a multi-line Persian Nasta'liq inscription recording the mint name Multan and the regnal year, enclosed within a plain inner cartouche and surrounded by a continuous beaded border along the coin's periphery. Small ornamental rosette or pellet devices are visible in the field between lines of text. The inscription arrangement and calligraphic style are consistent with Mughal imperial coinage struck at the Multan mint during the reign of Farrukhsiyar.

附加信息

Farrukhsiyar's reign was defined less by administrative competence than by factional dependency — he held the throne almost entirely at the pleasure of the Sayyid Brothers, Hussain Ali Khan and Abdullah Khan, who effectively controlled imperial appointments and revenue. The Multan mint operated under this increasingly fragmented authority, producing rupees that circulated across a region the emperor himself had limited real control over.

He was blinded and strangled by the Sayyids in 1719.
