Aanvullende informatie	Olivier Levasseur, known as "La Buse" (The Buzzard), was hanged at Réunion in 1730 after reportedly throwing an encrypted cryptogram into the crowd and shouting that his treasure was there for whoever could find it. That cipher has never been solved. The Seychelles connection is strong — his alleged hoard is thought to be buried on Mahé, and treasure hunters have been digging there for decades under government-issued licenses. This is a novelty issue, gold-plated copper rather than bullion, aimed squarely at the collector and tourist market rather than any monetary function.
