Obverse description Central field features a decorative yantra-style geometric design composed of interlocking rectangular compartments, within which the royal name and titles of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev are inscribed in Devanagari script. Auspicious Hindu symbols, including a sun, flame, and conch, adorn the four cardinal quadrants of the central motif. The Bikram Sambat date 2054 appears at the base of the central panel, divided across the lower compartments. The entire design is surrounded by a beaded inner border and a dentilated outer rim. The overall composition reflects the traditional Nepalese royal coin design aesthetic.
