Reverse description Central device depicts a frontal view of the Bageshwari Temple, a traditional Nepalese pagoda-style shrine rendered in fine relief with a multi-tiered roof, colonnaded facade, and surrounding platform. The temple name वागेश्वरी appears as a legend in Devanagari script in the upper field. The denomination numeral १ is prominently displayed in the lower centre of the field, flanked on the left by नेपाल (Nepal) and on the right by रुपैयाँ (Rupee). The design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the rim.
