The upper register records the regnal year legend 'Sana Julus', the central register carries the mint epithet 'Dar-ul-Barkat' and the lower register bears the mint name 'Zarb Nagor', indicating the coin was struck at the Nagor (Nagaur) mint. Pellet stops appear between words, and the hammered flan shows the characteristic irregular outline of hand-struck Rajput princely coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |
