Reverse description The reverse displays Arabic inscriptions arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line, with bold Naskh calligraphy filling both the upper and lower fields. The upper register contains the mint name (Kabul) and the lower portion bears the regnal year. Decorative dot pellets are interspersed among the letters, consistent with Barakzai-era Afghan rupee coinage. The hand-hammered strike produces bold, slightly irregular letter forms characteristic of the Kabul mint output during Ayub Shah's reign.
