| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan struck with a two-line Persian calligraphic legend in Naskh script, arranged within a central horizontal band dividing the field. The upper register bears the first hemistich of the royal couplet (kalima) and the lower register the second, reading: 'Struck like the full moon illuminating the world / Shah Aurangzeb Alamgir.' The legends are executed in bold, fluid strokes characteristic of late Mughal epigraphy, filling the round flan to its margins with no figurative imagery. |

| Reverse description | Hammered reverse displaying a two-line Persian inscription in Naskh script divided by a raised horizontal rule across the coin's field. The upper line records the auspicious regnal year formula ('Sanah Julus Maimanat Manus') and the lower line bears the mint name 'Zarb Lahore' (Struck at Lahore). Decorative floral or pellet ornaments appear at the margins in the lower field, consistent with Mughal Lahore mint practice.
