Reverse description Three horizontal registers of bold Nastaliq calligraphy fill the central field. The upper and middle registers bear the concluding hemistich of the 'badr munir' Persian couplet. The lower register records the mint name 'Khujista Bunyad' and the regnal year of Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir. Small floral or star ornaments appear as decorative dividers between the registers. The flan displays the characteristic irregular outline of Mughal hammered silver coinage.
