Obverse description Central field bears the kalima inscription invoking Shah Nur al-Din, rendered in bold, flowing Nasta'liq Arabic script arranged in diagonal bands across the flan. The legend fills the field with characteristic Kashmir hammered-coin style, with dotted borders framing the inscribed area. The irregular flan and hand-struck technique result in a slightly uneven surface typical of this issue.
