The third line identifies the mint as Shahjahanabad, and the fourth carries the Hijri date. Pellet and floral ornaments punctuate the inscriptions throughout the field. The flan edges are slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production at the Shahjahanabad mint during the mid-eighteenth century. |
