| Reverse description | Multi-line Persian/Nastaliq inscription in the central field divided by a horizontal line into two registers, with the mint name Sironj (سرونج) prominently placed at the bottom register. The regnal year (julus) of Alamgir II appears in the upper register. Decorative pellets and small floral ornaments are scattered in the field, consistent with Mughal feudatory coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |
