| Obverse description | Hammered silver rupee bearing the regnal title of Mughal emperor Alamgir II in three horizontal registers of bold Naskh-style Arabic script across the coin's field. The legends are arranged in the characteristic Mughal rupee format, with the emperor's name and titles occupying the central band. Decorative pellet ornaments separate the lines of inscription. The flan is irregularly shaped, as typical of hand-struck Mughal-style coinage of this period. |
