Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Persian legend in Naskh script, arranged across three registers and divided by a horizontal line, bearing the mint name 'Munbai' (Bombay) and the regnal year. The upper portion carries the phrase 'Zarb Munbai' indicating the place of striking, while the lower register records 'Sanat Julus Ahd RY 1 Maimanat Manus', denoting the first regnal year of auspicious accession. The field is plain with no additional ornamental devices, consistent with East India Company-era Mughal-style coinage struck at Bombay. The calligraphy is boldly executed in the standard Mughal hammered tradition.
