Obverse description Square silver token with multiple horizontal bands of Arabic script in raised relief across the field. The legends reference the Ilahi era solar calendar, introduced by Emperor Akbar beginning 13 February 1556. The die-struck inscription is bold with a slightly irregular flan typical of Mughal-era coinage.
