| Description de l’avers | Three horizontal bands of bold Nasta'liq calligraphy fill the flan, separated by ruled lines. The central band bears the royal legend of Ahmad Shah Durrani, founder of the Durrani Empire, with floral rosette ornaments punctuating the text in the field. The inscription is executed in the characteristic Indo-Persian hammered style, with letters of varying depth across the irregular planchet. Small decorative diamond and dot motifs are interspersed between the script bands as traditional fillers. The overall design follows the standard Mughal-derived rupee format adapted for Durrani coinage. |

| Description du revers | Three horizontal registers of bold Nasta'liq Arabic script occupy the reverse field, again separated by linear rules in classic Durrani rupee fashion. The central and upper bands bear the mint name Kashmir (کشمیر) along with the regnal year and Hijri date, with the lower band recording additional dating information. Scattered floral rosette and dot ornaments appear as decorative fillers in the field between inscription lines. The strike is characteristic of the Kashmir mint, showing slight weakness at the margins due to the irregularity of the hand-struck planchet. The style closely follows the Mughal minting tradition inherited and continued under Ahmad Shah Abdali. |
