The legend records the hijri regal year and mint epithet, with the characteristic Mughal floral or dotted ornamental fillers visible between inscription lines. The hammered flan shows natural irregular contours and surface texture consistent with hand-struck silver rupees of the Ahmad Shah Bahadur period. The script is bold and deeply struck, typical of the Shahjahanabad mint production. |
