Reverse description The reverse is similarly divided into three horizontal registers of Nasta'liq script within a plain linear border. The upper register contains the regnal year formula, the broad central register bears the phrase 'julus maimnat manus' (the auspicious accession), and the lower register records the mint name 'Zarb Farrukh Abad' (struck at Farrukhabad). Small pellet ornaments are visible in the field flanking the central legend, a decorative feature characteristic of Farrukhabad mint issues of this period.
