| Obverse description | Central field bears the royal Persian legend reading 'Sultan Muhammad Adil Shah Khaldullahu Mulkahu Sultanahu Ala amrahu,' invoking divine blessing upon the reign of the sultan. The inscription is arranged in multiple lines within the central field in the characteristic Sur dynasty calligraphic style.
