| 背面描述 | Central field displays the quartered arms of the city of Reval (Tallinn), featuring a walking lion rampant within a divided shield, executed in the bold, somewhat crude style characteristic of hammered municipal coinage. The date is split across the field, with '16' to the left of the shield and '68' to the right. No value mark appears on this variety, consistent with the 'without value' classification. The overall design is contained within a beaded or plain border. |

Reval — modern Tallinn — was firmly under Swedish crown control by 1668, having been ceded by Poland-Lithuania following the 1561 submission of the Livonian Order's remnants to Erik XIV. The city retained unusual municipal minting privileges under Swedish suzerainty, which produced oddities like this piece: a civic coin struck in the name of Carl XI yet bearing no stated denomination, relying entirely on weight and the cross device to communicate value to users. Carl XI was only twelve years old when this coin was struck, ruling under a regency council following his father Carl X Gustav's death in 1660.
