| 背面描述 | Central shield bearing the Danish lion passant, surmounted by a royal crown, with the date '1755' divided across the field to either side of the shield. The denomination numeral '1' appears above the shield in the upper field, with the legend 'ROYALIN' arcing across the upper portion. The coin's irregular, milled edge border is visible around the circumference, characteristic of Danish Indian colonial issues. |

The royalin was struck for the Danish East India Company's settlement at Tranquebar, on the Coromandel Coast, where Danish colonial presence dated to 1620. By the 1750s the Company was financially precarious, and the Tranquebar mint operated intermittently depending on the colony's trade revenues. KM#146 is notably scarce in any condition — the small settlement had limited monetary needs, and production runs were correspondingly short.
