| Obverse description | At centre, the Russian State emblem of a double-headed eagle with wings displayed occupies the field, rendered in fine detail within a dotted inner circle. The denomination ОДИН РУБЛЬ (One Rouble) arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) curves below the eagle.
