1 Rouble V. V. Gorbatko

Viktor Gorbatko flew three Soviet space missions — Soyuz 7 in 1969, Soyuz 24 in 1977, and Soyuz 37 in 1980 — logging over 30 days in space across a career that spanned the full arc of the Soviet manned program. He died in 2017. Transnistria has issued commemorative roubles recognizing Soviet cosmonauts with some regularity, a series that leans heavily into the region's political nostalgia for the USSR as a matter of deliberate cultural policy.
