Obverse description At centre, the official emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle with wings lowered — is rendered within a beaded inner circle. The semicircular legend БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) curves beneath the eagle. Along the outer rim, the denomination legend ОДИН РУБЛЬ (ONE ROUBLE) arcs across the top, while the lower portion bears the precious metal designation and fineness (Ag 925), the year of issue 2012 г., the fine metal content (7.78 g), and the Moscow Mint monogram ММД.
