| Obverse description | The note is printed in brown on a fine guilloche underprint. A central octagonal vignette contains the St. George and the Dragon motif, flanked on either side by the denomination numeral '1' within ornamental frames. The heading reads РАЗМЕННЫЙ ЗНАК in Cyrillic script, with the denomination ОДИНЪ РУБЛЬ inscribed in rectangular cartouches at top and bottom borders.
