| Obverse description | The central field features a detailed view of Saint Basil's Cathedral (Pokrovsky Cathedral) on Red Square in Moscow, rendered in high relief with its characteristic cluster of onion domes surmounted by crosses and a central tower topped with a star. To the upper left of the cathedral, the emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle — appears in the field. The Cyrillic legend БАНК РОССИИ arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 РУБЛЬ and the date 1992 are inscribed in the lower field. The mint engraver's initials appear at the lower right of the central design. |
