| Obverse description | The Imperial double-headed eagle appears as a central vignette at the upper portion of the note, set within an ornate guilloche border with decorative swags and pilasters framing the design. The large Cyrillic denomination ОДИНЪ РУБЛЬ occupies the centre field, with the numeral 1 repeated in the side panels. The lower portion carries a two-line text block stating the note is issued by the Rostov-on-Don Branch of the State Bank, with serial number, year date 1918, and two manuscript signatures of the Manager and Cashier at the foot. |
