The central field depicts a colored scene of two angels crowning Saint Euphrosyne of Polotsk, set against the architectural backdrop of the women's monastery. The founding year 1125 is inscribed centrally within the composition. A circular ornamental border decorates the lower portion of the field. |

The Spaso-Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk is among the oldest monastic foundations in the former Soviet space, established in the twelfth century by Euphrosyne of Polotsk, who remains one of the most venerated figures in Belarusian Orthodox tradition. She died in Jerusalem in 1173 during a pilgrimage and was canonized, her relics eventually returned to Polotsk in 1910 after centuries in Kyiv. The convent survived Soviet-era suppression and was returned to the Orthodox Church in 1989, one of the earliest such restorations in the Byelorussian SSR.
