| 正面描述 | The State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus is depicted in high relief at the top of the obverse. The central field features stylized silhouettes of birds — characters drawn from Belarusian folk legends — set against a decorative spinning wheel motif, its spokes transitioning organically into the pattern of tree growth rings, symbolizing perpetual motion and the cycle of nature. Interlaced Belarusian traditional plaited ornamental patterns flank the central design. The upper circumferential legend reads РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ, while the lower border carries the denomination 1 РУБЕЛЬ, with the year of issue 2014 inscribed in the lower field. |

Part of Belarus's long-running folklore and nature series, this rouble belongs to a broader program that the National Bank launched to target the collector market as hard currency reserves tightened through the 2010s. The bullfinch holds a specific place in Slavic winter folklore — its appearance was traditionally read as a sign of coming snow, and in Belarusian rural tradition the bird carried associations with seasonal prophecy rather than mere ornament.
Copper-nickel issues from this series were struck alongside silver-plated variants, creating catalog confusion that still surfaces in dealer inventories.
