Aanvullende informatie

The Kobrin system refers to the network of partisan bases and resistance operations centered around the Brest region during the Soviet partisan movement of World War II — a subject Belarus has commemorated extensively in its collector coinage program. These large-format copper-nickel issues form part of a long-running Belarusian series honoring wartime resistance, produced by the Mint of Poland on contract, as Belarus has no domestic mint facility of its own.
