| Obverse description | Central text panel carries the heading ЕЛИСАВЕТГРАДСКОЕ ОТДЕЛ. ГОСУДАР. БАНКА in an ornamental frame with column motifs at each side. Below the heading, the denomination ОДИН РУБЛЬ is set within a guilloche border; to the left stands a vignette of the double-headed eagle without crown, and to the right a palm-tree vignette. The lower portion bears the date 1918 in large numerals flanked by decorative rosettes, with manuscript signatures of the manager and cashier above, and the anti-counterfeiting legend ПОДДЕЛКА ПРЕСЛЕДУЕТСЯ ЗАКОНОМ across the foot. |

| Reverse description | Uniform light ochre-brown print overall. A large Cyrillic numeral «1» occupies the left field, with the word РУБЛЬ inscribed vertically beside it. At centre, a circular guilloche medallion encloses the double-headed eagle vignette without crown. Flanking the medallion are symmetrical sprays of oak and laurel. To the right, a rectangular Cyrillic text panel reads the acceptance clause stating that all banks in the city of Elisavetgrad accept these exchange notes for any payment of any amount. The entire design is contained within a fine dotted guilloche border. |
