Beschrijving voorzijde A crowned armored figure standing facing in a ship, holding a sword in the right hand and a shield bearing the Utrecht lion rampant in the left hand; additional heraldic shields adorn the sides of the vessel. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the peripheral Latin legend running along the outer border of the coin. The design closely follows the tradition of the English rose noble, adapted for the Province of Utrecht with its distinctive heraldic imagery. The hammered flan imparts a characteristically irregular outline to the piece.

Beschrijving keerzijde A large symmetrical rose of eight petals radiates from the center of the field, with alternating fleurs-de-lis and lions rampant occupying the spaces between the petals, all within a beaded inner circle. A small shield bearing the Utrecht arms appears at the top of the central rose motif. The peripheral Latin legend, invoking the motto of unity, runs continuously around the outer border, separated from the inner design by a second beaded circle. The overall composition is bold and densely engraved, consistent with the high-relief hammered technique of the period.
