Obverse description Central field features the royal title and name of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud rendered in ornate Arabic calligraphy within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend, also in Arabic script, reads the full royal title encircling the central motif. In the lower field, two crossed swords appear beneath a palm tree, forming the national emblem of Saudi Arabia. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed border of fine denticles. The composition is entirely typographic and heraldic, with no effigy, in keeping with Islamic artistic tradition.
