| Mô tả mặt sau | The reverse features a multicolour depiction of Orry the Oryx, the official mascot of the 15th Asian Games held in Doha in 2006, shown as a stylised cartoon character in a dynamic kicking pose with a football. The mascot is rendered in vivid polychrome enamel-style colour against the coin's metallic field, giving the piece a distinctive commemorative character. The inscription 15TH ASIAN GAMES DOHA 2006 arcs along the upper periphery, with the mascot's name ORRY appearing in the lower field. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Qatar hosted the 15th Asian Games in December 2006 — the first Gulf state to do so — and issued this commemorative alongside a broader series marking the event. Orry, the Arabian oryx chosen as the Games' official mascot, became one of the more recognizable mascot designs in Asian Games history, developed by a Qatari creative team under the Supreme Committee for the Games.
The oryx had been functionally extinct in the wild by the early 1970s before Qatar and neighboring states undertook captive breeding programs. Its selection carried pointed national significance.
