Obverse description Three-quarter length effigy of Queen Kristina facing slightly left, depicted in elaborate royal dress with intricate lace collar and jewelled adornments. The queen holds a sceptre in her right hand, with the Swedish royal crown resting on a table to her lower left. The portrait is rendered in the Baroque style typical of mid-17th-century Swedish coinage.
