| Opis awersu | The entire field is occupied by a multi-line Latin commemorative inscription arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's surface, recording the union of Gustav II Adolf and Maria Eleonora and her coronation as Queen of Sweden. The lettering, rendered in the bold Roman capital style characteristic of early seventeenth-century Swedish hammered coinage, fills the field from rim to rim. A dotted inner border frames the inscription, and the date and place of coronation — Stockholm, 27 November 1620 — are incorporated directly into the text. The irregular flan shape and surface texture are consistent with hammered production of the period. |

The composition is bold and symbolic, consistent with Swedish commemorative medallic art of the early Vasa period. The hammered flan exhibits the characteristic irregular edge typical of the Stockholm mint's output at this date. |
