| Obverse description | Draped and armored bust of King Charles XII of Sweden facing left, wearing a long flowing allonge wig with voluminous curls cascading over his shoulders. The king is depicted in military attire with a breastplate visible at the truncation. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading from the lower left and continuing around the upper periphery. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detailing in the wig curls and armor, characteristic of early 18th-century Swedish royal coinage. |
