正面描述	Bare-headed right-facing bust of King Carl XIII with long flowing hair and draped shoulders, rendered in a classical neoclassical style by engraver Carl Enhörning. The effigy is boldly modelled in high relief, occupying the central field. The circumferential Latin legend reads CARL XIII SV NORR GÖTH OCH V KONUNG, separated by dot stops, running from the lower left to the lower right along the inner border. The coin is bordered by a finely executed raised beaded or milled rim dentilation.

背面描述	Central field displays the Swedish coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing the three crowns of Sweden — surmounted by a large royal crown and encircled by a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon. Below the shield, the denomination mark I · R · (1 Riksdaler) appears flanking the mintmaster's initials L · B ·, with the date 18 20 divided across the lower field. The circumferential legend FOLKETS KÄRLEK MIN BELÖNING arcs around the upper portion of the reverse. The entire design is framed by the same finely dentilated milled border as the obverse.
