| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing bust of King Carl XIII with long flowing hair and draped shoulders, rendered in a classical neoclassical style by engraver Carl Enhörning. The effigy is boldly modelled in high relief, occupying the central field. The circumferential Latin legend reads CARL XIII SV NORR GÖTH OCH V KONUNG, separated by dot stops, running from the lower left to the lower right along the inner border. The coin is bordered by a finely executed raised beaded or milled rim dentilation. |
