The pendant of the chain descends at the base of the design, dividing the mintmaster's initials. A Latin motto legend surrounds the central device near the rim, with the date and mintmaster's initials appearing at the conclusion of the inscription. The overall composition is carefully balanced, reflecting the formal heraldic style of mid-18th century Swedish coinage. |
