| Reverse description | Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, the heads facing outward and surmounted by a single imperial crown. A globus cruciger (orb and cross) is borne on the eagle's breast, serving as the central charge. The surrounding circular legend in Latin names Emperor Matthias I as Holy Roman Emperor elect, with the date 1618 incorporated into the legend field. The bold, deeply struck eagle is characteristic of the Reichsadlertaler (Arendsrijksdaalder) type, following the iconographic conventions established for imperial coinage of the period. |
