Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Frederik VII occupying the central field, modeled in high relief with fine portrait detail. The king's name and royal titles appear in the surrounding legend in abbreviated Latin. Below the portrait, the date of issue is struck between the mint master's initials and the assayer's mark, flanking the crowned mintmark of the Copenhagen Mint. The overall design is austere and classical, consistent with mid-nineteenth-century Danish numismatic tradition.
