The legend 'CENTRAL BANK OF OMAN' arcs along the lower periphery in Latin script, while the Arabic inscription 'البنك المركزي العماني' curves along the upper border. The denomination 'ONE RIAL' appears in Latin script to the left of the emblem, with its Arabic equivalent 'ريال واحد' to the right. Two six-pointed stars flank the central device at mid-field. The inscriptions 'SULTANATE OF OMAN' and 'سلطنة عمان' appear respectively below and above the emblem.
