| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large, bold Arabic calligraphic inscription in nasta'liq script reading the royal titulature of Fath Ali Shah, arranged in sweeping diagonal lines across the flan. The legend proclaims the Shah's titles, including 'Sultan' prominently rendered in the lower portion of the field. The inscription is surrounded by a dotted inner border, with small floral or star ornaments interspersed in the field. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular, slightly uneven flan typical of hammered Qajar coinage of this period. |
