| Obverse description | The field bears a multi-line Persian legend in flowing Nasta'liq script, divided by a horizontal line into two registers. The upper register contains the royal epithet referencing the Qajar dynasty, while the lower register carries the principal royal titulature. The inscription reads in full: 'The Sultan son of the Sultan, Fateh Ali Shah Qajar.' The die-struck legend fills the flan in the characteristic style of early Qajar hammered coinage, with no figural imagery, consistent with Islamic numismatic tradition. |
