| Obverse description | Central field dominated by bold Nasta'liq calligraphy arranged within a quadripartite framework, bearing the royal legend of Fath Ali Shah Qajar. The inscription fills the field in a characteristic early Qajar hammered style, with the regnal title and dynastic name rendered in deeply struck, interlocking strokes. A circular border encloses the design, and the AH date 1215 appears in Eastern Arabic numerals at the base of the field. |
