Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Frederick II (Friedrich der Große) facing right, with a tied queue hairstyle adorned with a large laurel wreath, rendered in high relief with fine detail. The effigy occupies the central field, truncated at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads FRIDERICUS BORUSSORUM REX, separated from the toothed border by a plain inner rim.

Reverse description The Prussian crowned eagle, facing left with wings spread, perches atop a trophy of arms comprising a cannon, military banners, a laurel wreath, a balance scale, and other martial and civil emblems, all arranged on a low plinth. The denomination EIN REICHSTHALER arcs across the upper field as the primary legend. The date 1764 is inscribed on the plinth below the trophy, flanked by the mint mark letter F within a cartouche at center.
