Reverse description A large double-headed imperial eagle with spread wings dominates the field, each head crowned and facing outward, rendered in the heraldic Habsburg tradition. On the eagle's breast is superimposed a quartered escutcheon bearing the arms of the Habsburg territories. Below the shield, at the base of the eagle, the value mark '72' appears within a small cartouche, denoting the coin's value of 72 Kreuzer. The circumscribed Latin legend, separated by stops, reads INF HIS ARCHID CARINTIE D BVR followed by the mint date, encircling the design within a beaded border.
