| Reverse description | A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the field, each head surmounted by a separate crown with a large central crown above, holding orb and sceptre in its talons. On the breast of the eagle, a circular orb bears the denomination numeral 60 (Kreuzer), topped by a cross pattée, referencing the Kipper und Wipper monetary decree. The surrounding legend FERDINANDVS II D G ROM IMP SEMP AVG, identifying Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II, runs within a beaded border, the entire composition executed in the bold hammered style characteristic of Nuremberg coinage of the early seventeenth century. |
